NM DASH 2023-24 Suite of Supplemental Professional Development Materials and Guidance

As New Mexico schools prepare the 2023-2024 Spring NM DASH 90-day Plan (spring semester), there may be unique challenges as a result of recent NM Public Education Department (NM PED) guidance and expectations regarding development of schools’ strategic plans.  

If schools have developed the NM DASH Annual and 1st 90-day Plan (Fall Semester) for 2023-2024 school year, resources identified below will provide guidance for development of a 90-day Plan (Spring Semester) addressing compliance with Vistas School Improvement Designations:

·      All School Core Teams will develop a 90-day Plan (Spring Semester) in accordance with requirements of NM Vistas School Improvement Designations as described in “NM DASH Annual and 90-day Plan Guidance – January, 2024:  NM Vistas School Improvement Designation Requirements”.

 If schools have not yet developed the NM DASH Annual and 1st 90-day Plan for 2023-2024 school year (typically developed prior to fall semester of school year), Priority Schools Bureau offers the following adaptations:

·      School Core Teams will develop the NM DASH Annual Plan per guidance provided in the NM DASH Process Guide – June 2023 and modifications to Component 2 elements described in “NM DASH Annual and 90-day Plan Guidance – January, 2024:  Component 2 Adaptations.”

·      All School Core Teams will develop a 90-day Plan (Spring Semester) in accordance with requirements of NM Vistas School Improvement Designations as described in “NM DASH Annual and 90-day Plan Guidance – January, 2024:  NM Vistas School Improvement Designation Requirements”.
